The International Poker Federation (“IPF”, or “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We understand that visitors to www.int.pokerfed.org (“Website”) may have questions about whether and how this Website collects and uses information. This policy sets out the terms on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Here we will inform you of the privacy principles that govern this Website.
The IPF is the International member of the International Federation of Poker (“IFP”). This Website is controlled and operated by Mind Sports Pte. Ltd (“MSP”) as agent for the IFP. The important corporate details are as follows:
- MSP is a company registered in Singapore under company number 201107278G and whose principal office is at 77 Robinson Road, #24-01 Robinson 77, Singapore, 068896;
- The IFP is a non profit organisation incorporated as a legal entity in Switzerland. The IFP’s principal UK office is at Berger House, 38 Berkeley Square, London W1J 5AH.
- The IFP is a company registered in England under company number 06718874 and our registered office is at 14 Butlers Court Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 1SF. Please note that our main trading address is Berger House, 38 Berkley Square, London W1J 5AH, England.
- For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 of the United Kingdom (“DPA”) the data controller is MSP. The IFP will only process your data. This policy contains general and technical details about the steps we take to respect your privacy concerns.

Information we collect and its uses
When we need to collect personally identifiable information from you, for example, when you register your interest on this Website, we may ask you to voluntarily supply us with the information we need. When you provide contact details, such as, for example, your email address, we may use the contact information to keep you updated about our launch, any upcoming events and membership information, unless you notify us not to. On these occasions we will use your name and address to send a confirmation. By ticking the box on the registration form or subscription form you consent to us using this information in this way.

Securing the transmission and storage of information
We treat the information you provide to us as confidential information; it is, accordingly, subject to our organisation's security procedures and policies regarding protection and use of confidential information. The data that MSP collects from you is collected and stored in the UK. It may also be processed by either MSP’s or IFP’s staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy.
All information you provide us is stored on MSP’s secure servers. Any payment transactions will be effected via PayPal. Where we have given you (or you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of this Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
Unfortunately the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to this Website; any transmission is at your own risk.
We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, partners or third parties. We may, however, provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, how many players live in Brighton). We may also make use of the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertiser’s wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience.
Disclosure of information to third parties
MSP will not allow the sale or transfer of personal information to other entities for their use without your approval. MSP may share your personally identifiable information with affiliated companies that are directly or indirectly controlled by, or under common control of MSP. These companies do not have any right to use the information MSP provides to them for any purpose beyond what is necessary to assist MSP and IFP.
Children’s privacy
This site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children.

We are only responsible for the privacy statement and content of this Website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the use of cookies on sites that you have accessed this Website from and to the non IFP sites that you may access from this Website.
Legal issues
The server on which this Website is hosted is controlled and operated by MSP. The server is physically located in England. This is an English website and is subject to the laws of England. We will disclose personal information without your permission when required by law, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to investigate or protect against harmful activities to MSP, its associates, property or to the IFP or IFP. Laws related to personal identifiable information vary by country.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes.

Access to information
The DPA gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the DPA. Any access request may be subject to a fee of 10GBP to meet our costs in the UK in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. This is the fee that you are required to pay under the DPA if you do make an access request.
Changes to our privacy policy
In the future, we may need to change the privacy statement for www.int.pokerfed.org. All changes will be made here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and under what conditions it may be disclosed.
